Does Your Child Act Afraid Of Being In Trouble?

My daughter will say “yes ma’am or yes boss” in a high-pitched voice and whine and ask if she’s in trouble anytime we say her name, tell her to come here, or ask her to do anything. I think this is her anxiety. She has a med check on Tuesday and I will ask her doctor about increasing the dosage of her anxiety medication.

Are Your Ready To Go Back To School?

My daughter is supposed to practice writing for third grade. I could barely get her to sit down to do any work. She is supposed to do multiplication, but even with a hands-on “game” I can barely get her to do it. She hardly wants to read books herself. I read them to her. She prefers to read graphic novels.
